Jagdesh Lakhan is a seasoned Partner and strategic advisor with over two decades of experience at the intersection of high-stakes finance, corporate governance, and transformative leadership. His career, built on a foundation as a former PwC supervisor and CFA candidate, is distinguished by a unique ability to architect robust financial and operational frameworks while fostering the human capital within them.

He provides authoritative guidance to executives and boards on portfolio management, mergers and acquisitions, and complex regulatory compliance, having directly advised on investment portfolios exceeding TT$1 billion and led due diligence for strategic acquisitions. His expertise extends to structuring special purpose vehicles, performing corporate valuations, and ensuring stringent adherence to IFRS, BASEL III, and FIU regulations. He acts as the lead audit partner on various internal and external audit engagements and consulting projects. 

Beyond the technical, Jagdesh is a dedicated leadership facilitator and coach. He leverages this holistic perspective to strengthen corporate governance, conduct enterprise-wide risk assessments, and design internal control environments that are both resilient and empowering. This dual focus on fiscal integrity and human potential enables him to guide organizations through technical challenges while coaching teams and individuals toward higher performance and clarity.

A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Practicing Member of ICATT, and a registered Broker Dealer, Jagdesh is also a graduate of the Sri Sathya Sai International Leadership Program. He regularly synthesizes his professional and spiritual insights as a guest lecturer and speaker for institutions such as the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business and the Institute of Internal Auditors of Trinidad and Tobago.

Leonardo M. Ambrose is the founding Senior Partner of Lakhan Ambrose & Company, bringing an exceptional fifty-year career in the accountancy profession to the firm’s leadership. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT), Mr. Ambrose is a pillar of the financial community, renowned for his technical mastery, strategic foresight, and pioneering integration of technology within professional practice.

His distinguished career was largely forged during his tenure as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he held dual, critical leadership roles. As the firm’s Technical Accounting Partner, he served as the ultimate authority on complex accounting and audit issues, guiding the firm’s approach to intricate professional standards and the implementation of new audit methodologies. Concurrently, he was responsible for the development, implementation, and management of all PwC’s information technology systems and applications in Trinidad and Tobago, a role that underscored his unique fusion of deep accounting expertise and advanced technological acumen—a rare combination that remains a defining strength of his advisory practice.

Mr. Ambrose’s client experience is vast and cross-sectoral, encompassing audits and advisory services for banks, insurance companies, regulators, conglomerates, utilities, airlines, and the oil and gas industry. This extensive background provides him with an unparalleled understanding of regulatory environments and operational challenges across the economy. Beyond assurance, he has directed numerous high-level consultancy engagements, including forensic investigations, business plan preparation, cash flow forecasting, share valuations, and financial feasibility studies.

His forward-looking expertise in information technology is both profound and historically grounded. With over four decades of hands-on experience, he has conducted organizational reviews of computer hardware and software and developed comprehensive Information Technology Strategic Plans for major organizations. This long-standing command of technology informs his practical, efficient approach to modern business solutions.

A committed contributor to corporate governance, Mr. Ambrose has served as a Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust Corporation and holds current directorships with several prominent financial institutions.
